Everyone is warmly invited to attend the

Vestry and Annual Parochial Church [PCC] Meeting,

where Churchwardens and PCC Members are elected for the coming year

“All lay persons whose names are entered on the roll of the parish shall be entitled to attend the annual meeting and to take part in its proceedings, and no other lay person shall be so entitled”

Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting where a review of the past year is considered and important issues can be raised for the Church Councils to address

 Appointments are made to the

Methodist Church Council [MCC] who’s representatives serve on the Joint Church Council [JCC]

Only Members of the Methodist Church can vote but everyone is invited to be present

Oakwood Church Annual Meeting

Next Meeting - March 2020 [Postponed due to Covid-19]

 Once a year the Joint Church Council meets with the whole church to report on what’s been happening over the past year and to look to the future.  It is an opportunity to thank those who have taken on the responsibility of governance in the church over the past year and celebrate the work that has been done in the name of Jesus

For the continued governance of our church, we will elect Stewards, Churchwardens and Church Council members to ensure that we are legally and financially sound. In addition, there will be some conversation about issues of importance to the church
