Ladies’ Evening Club

We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 20.00 prompt until about 21.30 in the New Room, which is on the ground floor at Oakwood Church. Ample free parking

Most months we invite speakers, ensuring enjoyable, entertaining and informative meetings. As refreshments are served there is ample time to ask any questions and for members to ‘catch up’ with each other

Our Christmas evening always feels very special as we enjoy readings and carols followed by a light supper

We hold our A.G.M. and light supper in June

In July we enjoy our Annual Dinner outing, locally

We take a break in August, resuming in September

Members pay £5 annually each September (or when first becoming a member of the Club), plus £3 at each meeting attended. These contributions cover expenses, principally speakers' fees and rent for the room

We are always open to new members and you will be made welcome
